She did however charmingly wish the contestants of Newsroom's Got Talent luck in the contest on October 10 at the 02 arena, London.
It will see some of the biggest names in television news take to the stage and raise much-needed funds for Leonard Cheshire Disability and UNICEF.
The judging panel is made up of Pete Waterman, Cheryl Baker, Rylan Clark and Nancy Dell'Olio, and will be hosted by Kate Thornton and Richard Arnold.
