We recently had an insightful chat with Hrishikesh Dewan, CEO of Ziroh Labs.

The company is working on something bold — running powerful AI models without GPUs. Yes, without GPUs.

Their new tool, Kompact AI, runs large models on regular CPUs while keeping data encrypted.

What stood out to us?

- It's not just about performance — it's also about privacy.
- They’re solving for edge use cases and real-world constraints, not just benchmarks.

has launched Labs, a new feature designed to handle more complex tasks like building analytical reports, interactive apps, dashboards, and presentations — all in one place.

🔍 Unlike the existing Deep Research tool, Labs goes deeper. It uses coding, design tools, and even headless browsing to create rich, dynamic outputs.

🧩 You can now:

▪️ Create and deploy simple apps directly in the “App” tab
▪️ Organize files like docs, charts, spreadsheets, and code in the “Assets” tab
▪️ Build projects without needing extra tools

📦 Labs is now available for all Perplexity Pro users.

Also worth noting: Perplexity is working on a no-code builder called Projects and teased virtual meeting tools coming to Comet soon (recording, transcription, in-meeting search).
