WE SAW THE WONDER… BUT DID WE REMEMBER THE CREATOR? 🌑🌞

Yesterday, many people across Europe were captivated by the solar eclipse. Some travelled miles just to witness it.

It was truly amazing. But as I watched everyone marvel at science and nature, I couldn't help but ask:

Who created the sun, moon and everything we see?

The Bible says, “The heavens declare the glory of God.” — Psalm 19:1

Science can explain how an eclipse happens, but it doesn't change Who made it possible.

Sometimes, we become so fascinated by creation that we forget the Creator.

So when you see something amazing in nature, don't just say, “Wow!”

Say, “What an amazing God!”

SMILE... It's Free! 😄

Have you noticed some people walk around looking like they're personally responsible for paying everyone's bills?

Smile a little! You don't lose calories, your phone battery doesn't drop, and you won't be charged VAT for it.

Your smile could be the encouragement someone desperately needs today. You never know whose day you might brighten with one simple expression.

So, here's today's challenge: Smile at someone today... and if they don't smile back, smile again. They might just be buffering!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the people who speak the most negatively about you aren't always reacting to something you've done, but to the light they see in you?

Not everyone will celebrate your growth. Some people become uncomfortable when they see you walking confidently in your God-given purpose. Instead of cheering you on, they may criticise you, misunderstand you, or even try to pull you down.

But here's what I've learned: Never dim the light God placed inside you just to make someone else comfortable.

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden... Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:14,16.

Yesterday, I attended a funeral, and as the service went on, I was reminded of one truth we often try to avoid:

One day, every one of us will leave this earth.

We pray for long life, and that's a good prayer. But when the day finally comes for us to meet our Creator, what legacy will we leave behind?

Recently, someone passed away, and one of the few things people close to him could say was that he never seemed to care much about anyone else. That was heartbreaking to hear.

Then yesterday, I listened as family and friends spoke so lovingly about a woman who had lived a life of kindness and selflessness. They shared how she was always there for them—even her great-grandchildren. Her children, now in their 70s, wept as they talked about how much they would miss their mother.

So, dear friends, when your name is mentioned after you're gone, what will people remember?

The Bible reminds us: "A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold." — Proverbs 22:1

Every day we are alive is another opportunity to love deeply, forgive freely, serve faithfully, and point others to Christ.

Again I ask, if your life story ended today, what would people say about you?

Life has a way of testing our faith. There are moments when what we see with our eyes seems to contradict what God has spoken. But remember this: God's Word is more reliable than our feelings, our circumstances, or our fears.

The promises of God don't expire because of delays. They don't fail because of setbacks. If God has spoken it, He is faithful to bring it to pass in His perfect timing.

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." — 2 Corinthians 1:20

Today, choose to focus on what God says rather than what the world says. Feed your faith with Scripture instead of feeding your fears with doubt. His Word is your anchor, your hope, and your strength.

No matter what you're facing today, don't let go of God's promises. Hold on. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. God is always faithful.
