2025 was an eventful year for the media side at LID. Ben Walker, our Head of Media, is sharing his reflections on the past year below.

"2025 will be remembered for the relaunch of Director, the house magazine of LID’s new partner, the Institute of Directors (IoD). The magazine has a pedigree – it first published in 1949. Following a hiatus over the Covid period, the magazine is back on shelves, desktops and devices – an appropriately mid-heatwave launch party in Flaming June saw the release of the summer issue. The autumn edition duly followed. And the team are now working towards the third magazine, out as winter turns to spring. Alongside the magazine, LID began working with IoD in the audio and digital space. A series of podcasts and weekly policy blogs give the brand reach beyond eyeballs on the printed page.

Elsewhere in media, it’s been another fabulous year working with a cherished longstanding partners Duke Corporate Education and the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Under the editorship of Patrick Woodman, Duke CE’s house magazine Dialogue continues to push the boundaries of thought-leadership for leaders. Catalyst, the CIM membership magazine edited by irrepressible marketing journalist Morag Cuddeford-Jones, endures as the essential window into a key industry that touches us all. In 2026, vodcasts were added to the partnership, with me presenting episodes from a studio in Borough.

A final word for Kate Harkus, LID’s creative director for media of many years standing. With her expert eye, Kate continues to deliver brilliant, crisp visuals right across LID’s media portfolio.
