GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist, actress, songwriter, producer and pop icon Ariana Grande has wrapped her critically-acclaimed sold-out ‘The Eternal Sunshine Tour’, gathering over 630,000 fans across 41 arena shows in 10 cities between North America and an outstanding 10-night residency at London’s The O2 for her triumphant return to touring after seven years away from the stage!
As her most critically-lauded tour to date, critics have praised Ariana’s “absolutely astonishing vocal showcase” over “two hours of audiovisual spectacle”, highlighting the star’s live performance as one of pop’s most formidable vocalists. Named after her seventh studio album ‘eternal sunshine’, the tour was joined by her eight studio album ‘petal’ hitting No.1 on both the UK Official Albums Chart and Billboard 200, becoming her sixth UK chart-topping album and seventh in the US ⭐
For the London run, Ariana delivered surprise performances of songs from ‘petal’, in addition to the usual setlist full of hits like ‘yes, and?’, ‘thank u, next’ and ‘Dangerous Woman’, delivering impressive vocal riffs, choreography and even live production performance. The tour also featured surprise guest performances, including ‘Wicked’ co-star Cynthia Erivo during London’s second night for a reunion performance of ‘For Good’ and ‘Happy Days/Get Happy’, and Ty Dolla $ign joining Ariana for ’Safety Net’ in New York
Over the course of the tour, arinators could enjoy dedicated fan experiences and pop-ups through a powerful real-world extension of Ariana’s r.e.m. beauty community. The tour has also partnered with Ariana’s nonprofit The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, spotlighting and supporting 30 organisations that provide protection, support and vital resources for vulnerable communities with a focus on protecting trans and LGBTQ+ rights 🌈
After an already intense run of creative projects including ‘Wicked’ and ‘Wicked: For Good’, Ariana Grande will be taking a temporary break from public life and the stage, but fans will still get to see her on the screen alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in ‘Focker In Law’, which is premiering in theatres during Thanksgiving week!
