BIG NEWS!
Pansy has acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to THE POINT OF IT ALL, the highly anticipated new novel by Laura Kay.
This follows a significant deal in the US, where Simon & Schuster won a competitive auction in a six-figure acquisition. The book will be published by Pansy as a lead title on 11 March 2027.
Spanning decades, THE POINT OF IT ALL is an unforgettable love story about timing, friendship and soulmates, following Ros and Holland from their teenage years through the twists and turns of adulthood. Funny, propulsive and deeply moving, THE POINT OF IT ALL explores the intensity, drama and joy of finding your soulmate, and the ways we can spend a lifetime getting in our own way.
The novel has already earned praise from Clea DuVall, who said: "I've never read a book that captures the joy, agony and complexity of true love as honestly as THE POINT OF IT ALL does. It absolutely knocked me out."
Laura Kay said: "I am thrilled to be working with Pansy to publish THE POINT OF IT ALL. Matt and Harry are so ambitious in their vision for the novels they're working on and their belief in the potential and possibilities for q***r authors is so refreshing and exciting. I can't think of a better UK home for this book."
Matt Cain, co-founder of PANSY, said: "It's an absolute dream to be publishing Laura Kay. I've loved all four of her books so far but think THE POINT OF IT ALL represents a shift in gear and a major step up. It's a beautiful, wise and moving book, with sparkling dialogue and a vitality that bursts from every page, and it doesn't surprise us that it's already generating such great buzz."
THE POINT OF IT ALL by Laura Kay will be published in the UK on 11 March 2027.
