It is funny how a lens of love changes things. I hate sewing but today it made me cry quiet tears of joy because on my teenage daughters birthday I got to be a Mummy. She needed me to sew a button on her uniform and I was so glad to have an opportunity to engage that I loved the task of sewing more than anything!

This is a 100 year old milk bottle from my Granda’s dairy. He served his whole life as a milk man. Every spring my heart sings when I see the wee £1 bunches of daffy in the supermarket. Then Granda’s bottle comes out of hibernation to hold them.

Fixing up an old autoharp and making a racket just for fun! It's good to just mess about with something even when its far from peefect.

My sister salvaged an autoharp from a house clearance of a relative. She always wanted one. Been quite the challenge trying to tune it for her! First go tonight and we have one missing string, two bust strings and one stuck peg...but got it in shape enough to have some fun having a go on it!
