Land photographed this morning, and due to a busy weekend of a Christmas party and a wedding - this afternoon was meeeee time for 15 holes of golf ⛳️

Yesterday was Susan & Graham’s wedding, where they tied the knot at the Derby Conference Centre surrounded by a very large group of family and friends. The day was filled with so much love and a crazy amount of fun, giving me endless opportunities for candid moments from the karaoke to all the natural laughs in between.
Despite the wet weather forecast we didn’t see a drop of rain, which meant we were able to make the most of the last autumnal colours in the gardens, confetti and a group photo of all. The service from the DCC staff was impeccable as always and the décor was beautifully done by the Stage2Events team, it’s always great to see you all again and likewise
Thank you both for having me along to capture your big day.

As you’ll see from these final sneak peeks, there was so much love and laughter in the air, it was such an awesome autumnal day with the challenging low sun but I wouldn’t haven’t it any other way - Keep on eye on your emails!

So that makes me 100% up to date with 28 weddings this year, two more to photograph and the next is this Sunday 📸 Christmas parties and several more commercial jobs still booked in before the end of 2025 📸

I was recently asked to be involved in a styled shoot at a local water sports venue I visit with my son, Spring Lakes. It’s a fantastic spot located in Long Eaton where you can get married, host commercial events, black-tie evenings, swim, wake board and so much more.
The couple were real newlyweds which always makes these shoots flow so naturally and isn’t something I really do very often. However with a lovely group of industry friends we all came together at for an autumn-inspired shoot in their marquee.
It all came together beautifully capturing some incredible pictures inside and out.

On this wet autumnal day, here’s a shot that perfectly sums up Hannah & Reace’s wedding from three weeks ago at . It rained .. a lot but I used the weather to my advantage and nailed this one for them. Just epic, if I don’t say so myself! ☔💍

Sunday was Sal & Paul’s big day and what a lovely story they share. They first met in their teens and were great friends, but life took them in different directions for a while… until fate brought them back together years later and the rest is history. 💍
Their wedding took place at the beautiful Pavilion at on a gorgeous sunny late autumn afternoon. Daylight was against us, but we still managed to fit in confetti, group shots, couple portraits, candids, a drone photo of all and even a few speeches before sunset.
The evening celebrations were full of music and emotion with friends performing, their daughter singing a beautiful solo song and the groom taking to the stage with his own band, Beyond Redemption. 🎶
And Photolux Photo Booth kept guests laughing well into the night!

I had such a great time with all and really appreciate you asking me to be part of your big day.
