SL76/148 now put back in its period livery 😍 there’s something about race cars in their period colour schemes that just looks right 👌🏼

We have race prepared SL76/148 since 2013 and have had great success with the car worldwide.

Available now with Ben don’t miss this opportunity to own a real, legal, race winning Lola T70 Mk3B.

We would love to remain in the cars future plans and can offer our race winning expertise to any new custodian.

An elegant solution to a modern day requirement that was irrelevant in period… ROPs. Machined these clevises from solid to enable space saving whilst maintaining strength, and delete the need for a giant rod end. This ROPs is being fabricated for a Lotus 12, which presents a real challenge due to how little space there is inside the chassis for the driver. #12

Some progress on a customer RF99 rebuild. Weld repaired bellhousing thanks to Mike and then machined and faced in house. All threads made good and then re-chromated. Loads of new goodies from including new wishbones all round and a short wheelbase kit. This thing is going to be better than new when complete 👌🏼

What do you do when a set of original Lola wheel spinners are beyond repair but are part of the cars history? Answer. Make a bespoke set of wheel nuts. These were a cool little project using the rotary table, I didn’t want them to look too perfect so they were hand finished afterwards, and tried to use the ‘Lola’ casting in different orientations to denote left and right hand thread too. Was even able to adapt an old wheel socket to suit!

A warm weekend at the Nurburgring Oldtimer for me, sharing with Wolfgang and Paul, Dean and Andy looking after us all, we also had Chris at Laguna Seca in the capable hands of Gareth (and Ruth!) and Neil at Croft with James. A top weekend! We also snuck in a tads of photography and video making here and there too….

Another set up done, this time on our GT40 chassis 1019 as it goes back together after its crack testing program ahead of another year of racing. Although there are much more modern gizmos out there that cost a fortune, our good friend Geoff showed us that some string, a ruler, a set of spring calipers and a cup of tea will get the job done just fine 👌🏼
