TELL’D EDITION 8 IS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS!

Submit your creative writing, art or memoir story ([email protected]) to be a part of the Winter 25/26 edition of Lincolnshire’s LGBTQ+ creative community zine!

We accept any form of creative/critical writing, visual art and personal memoir story from LGBTQ+ people in/from Lincolnshire! If you’re submitting a creative piece, please provide a short biographical note about yourself and your work. You may also choose to remain anonymous. DM us for more information!

Please note, we cannot pay for submissions to our regular Tell’d Zine as we have for funded projects, please feel free to provide your social media handles or advertisements for Lincolnshire based LGBTQ+ groups, projects or activities. Finally, we may not include all of your work, this will only be to maximise the amount of people included in the zine!

On Sunday we held a final gathering for the Tell’d Histories and Dreams project, funded by CreateNEL!

It was so great to reconnect with the participants, present the archival film and see people share their creative work and ideas.

Special thanks to our amazing participants for their contributions and openness. Thanks to Tanya Akrofi and Lynsey Allett for their hard work on the workshops and archival film. Thanks to Grimsby Central Hall, the venue for the workshops and gathering event. Thanks also to Create NEL and their funding partners for making the project possible.

We really recommend popping in to this free event - you'll meet some lovely people and we know you'll get totally inspired by all the creativity that goes into wonderful independent zine making! 🙌
