Richard has been a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild since 2007.Guild members are committed to following the Guild Code of Ethics giving you the reassurance that you can buy with confidence. By selecting a supplier following Guild print standards you are showing yourself to be both a professional artist, serious about your work and that you care about the requirements of customers interested in it. The French term ‘Giclée’ (zhee-klay) translates literally as spirt or spray and is used to refer to digital, fine art prints produced using high end inkjet printers utilising the very latest pigment based archival inks which are highly resistant to fading alongside the finest archival fine art inkjet papers and canvas. The Giclée method also gives superior definition and higher detail to images. A unique advantage of this type of fine art reproduction over more traditional methods is the ability to print on demand and order exactly what you need when you need it…. you can sell a print first then have it produced! Small Format Giclée Prints (up to A3+) are produced using Epson’s 7 colour archival UltraChrome pigment inks renowned for their superb light fastness. Epson Archival Matte Paper is generally employed due to its smooth white surface suitable for accurately reproducing many different art surfaces as well as its ability to ensure the very best result from the UltraChrome inks. Other papers can be selected upon request to meet your requirements. Larger format Giclée prints are produced using Epson’s eight colour, archival UltraChrome K3 pigment inks which are certified for use by ArtSure. A variety of professional papers and canvas from Hahnemuhle and Fotospeed are used to produce large format prints (see p4), some being ArtSure certified. Small format prints are produced using these inks and surfaces when ArtSure quality is required. All Giclée prints are supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity showing details of inks and substrate used along with care guidelines for purchasers to follow to protect their purchase.

Send your family and friends unique Christmas cards this year!

I am unable to show you the next few drawings as they are surprises for my clients to keep ☺️

In the meantime I managed to get a print done of the lovely Dutch Spotted Ram owned by Robbie. A print for my wall and one for my parents who love seeing me draw 🥰

I sent a picture off to Richard C O Lovesey Fine Art & Print, who I used to send my drawings off too years ago. The service is quality and I’m never disappointed with the result. To say I am chuffed with these two prints is an understatement 🫶

Looking forward to taking this to the framers, where the original is currently being framed at Cottage Harmony Picture Framing Company in West Wales, another little gem of a place who used to frame my work years ago too 🫶

👏 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 👏

To every small business in and around Louth who gets up each day, opens the doors, switches the kettle on, and does all the things no one sees - this one’s for you.

The early starts.
The late nights.
The stock orders, supplier calls, endless admin, the paperwork that never ends.
The cleaning, the prepping, the pricing, the planning.
The juggling of roles; owner, buyer, bookkeeper, customer service, cleaner, marketer... all in one.

Customers see the shop front, the products, the smiles, the service, but not the graft behind the scenes. The real work. The effort it takes to simply keep going.

Running a small business isn’t for the faint-hearted. It’s a constant balancing act of passion, perseverance, and plain hard work.

So if you’re reading this and you’re one of those local heroes, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. You’re what makes this town tick.

👏 Here’s to the ones who keep showing up.
👏 Here’s to the ones doing it all behind the scenes.
👏 Here’s to you.
