Absolutely crackers to think that this time last week I was up early prepping for Joe and Zoe’s beautiful wedding celebration…

This week has been FULL ON—but mostly in the best possible way.
We get entrenched in our lives and it is no small thing to box up nearly a quarter of a century in two weeks, but Week 1 has been cathartic, energising, and wildly productive thanks to some truly incredible people.

This week has reminded me of one thing above all:

👉 Friendship and generosity of heart are treasures we can all share the spoils of.

💥 Massive thanks ...

💙 My son Ben, who was here as a baby when this journey began, has been here all week working alongside Tom—a rock-solid friend and without doubt the most successful GM The Priory has known. Between them, they’ve done the work of ten.

🚗 Glen and Kako, two of our long-time guests, travelled from London and gave up three whole days to help. They remind me and the team how lucky we are for the beautiful guests we have had the privilege to look after over the years.

🍔 Big Ben, who’s been jumping in between shifts at Maccies—you're a star.

📚 The incredible Daniel’s Kitchen team and book club crew, led by the brilliant Mandi, who turned a storage challenge into a heart-led, joyful auction to fuel our next project.

Estelle, Amanda, Rachel, Jonathan, Hannah, Martin, Dominique, Esme— and those I have missed ... you’re absolute legends. Thank you.

On top of it all, we’ve made serious headway on our van conversion, which will give Steph and I some much needed headspace before we begin the next chapter.

💛 Thinking of Len 💛

This week, our thoughts are firmly with our beloved Len — one of Daniel's Kitchen CIC most dedicated and kind-hearted volunteers — who has been admitted to ICU.

Len has been part of our heartbeat here. He’s one of those people who never seeks the spotlight but quietly moves mountains for others. His warmth, humour, and tireless energy have lifted so many of us — and now it’s our turn to lift him.

Please keep Len in your thoughts and prayers. We’re sending all our love to him and his family, and we’ll be right here waiting with a cuppa (and probably a job list) when he’s ready to come back.

💛 Get well soon, Len — we all miss you more than you know.

As our time here draws to a close, our mission remains the same - to support people who have been underestimated - want to grow, heal, learn, and rise.

At the heart of everything we do — from supporting Daniel's Kitchen CIC to walking alongside people who have been undervalued — we stay rooted in the most important human purpose. To help each other be more.
More of who we truly are.
More present.
More connected.
More compassionate.

And so while we search for a new home, this page will be called The Be More Team.

We’ll continue to share updates here, and yes — we are still available for private dining and public speaking.
