Last years Walking Men sculpture on the beach prompted numerous photographs, drawings, paintings and even a short film. A selection of these responses was hurriedly assembled as an impromptu exhibition at The Mayfly Cafe in the High Street. It was such a success and we wanted to get more people involved with creating their own positive creative responses to the sculptures that will on our beach this summer. Get involved !

Paper-works* are delighted to be working in partnership with Messums East and Laurence Edwards to create and celebrate individual responses to all the sculptures on the beach that will be part of this years First Light Lowestoft Get involved during the festival, and then afterwards with sketching sessions led by local artists and paper-works* printmaking workshops all leading up to an exhibition at The Mayfly Cafe at 72 The High Street, Lowestoft. 450 leaflets have been printed using environmentally friendly toxin free inks on carbon zero sustainably manufactured paper. Lowdown was commissioned by The North Cliff Community Garden when they heard that we were researching into the use of "green" printing products. We are delighted to have been able to meet their aims with a fully recyclable and domestically compostable leaflet with our first print run using these enhanced environmental printing products.
