A quick little Mother's Day Poem for you!

Mother's Day is a day to celebrate,
The mother's in our lives.
My mum isn't here anymore,
But I still love her,
And miss her daily.
Mum's are special,
Respect them,
Listen to them,
They know best.
Enjoy your time with your mum,
While you still can!
She won't be around forever!
Here's to mum's everywhere,
We love you and know you care!

It's a bit late to be uploading this. But this is a poem I wrote for my mum on mother's Day on the UK.

Mother's Day Poem

Mum you're not here today,
To celebrate mother's Day,
Doesn't stop me loving you,
Each and every day,
You brought me up good,
Taught me right from wrong,
Showed me the way,
You're the best mum ever.
No amount of cards or flowers,
Can do justice of how much I love you,
You always knew what to say,
When I was sad or upset.
Here's to you today mum,
Enjoy life in heaven!

Not exactly a poem. But it's a song dedicated to my mum for her birthday.

Mum's Song.

Mum

She's gone but not forgot,
When she died she left alot.
Her work here was done,
God called home,
Leaving me here alone.

When I close my eyes I see her face,

And while I was challenged to write a gospel poem. I wrote one for my friend! Here it is

Miya

She begins with 'M'
She is from USA,
Her eyes match her hair,
Full on brown and full with flair.
So cool and a friend,
Makes me laugh,
Makes me smile,
She has the right path,
Which will last a while.
With a smile like hers,
Everyone's day is brightened,
And their burdans lightened.
Who could it be?
The one and only Miya!

After talking to a friend I was challenged to write a gospel related poem... So hope you like!

Converted!

Being converted means,
Having faith in christ alone,
Reading scriptures daily,
Praying to the Lord above,
He is the one to love.
Trust in the Lord,
He knows you well
No need to worry,
Because all is swell.
Have faith and open your heart,
Let the blessings pour,
When you follow Christ's commandments.
Don't forget Heavenly Father above,
And always show him all your love!

Heartbreak

Verse 1

I fall in love,
I get heartbroken,
I get used, played, and lied too!
When I trust I get used!

If I trust it's for love!
But trusting gets
My heart broken.
The more I trust
The more I hurt!

Chorus

Heartbreak hurts,
Heartbreak sucks,
Heartbreaks not for me,
But yet I still let it happen!

Why do it?
Break my heart?
Tell me you love me
And ask me for money,
Just to go ahead and
Break my heart!

Verse 2

It happens all the time!
I get close and trust,
And I end up broken inside
My heart isn't to be played with
But yet it's happened!

I find it hard to trust.
When I trust I get broken!
Broken is my name!
Thanks for making me broken!

Evil and nasty,
Bad and sad.
Why would you break
A heart like mine,
All because you've been
Broken in the past?

I am not a toy,
I have a heart,
Why would you break it?
When you say you love me?

My heart is now locked
My heart has a key
No one will gain it
It's in an armour plate!

My heart will never break again
I won't let it happen!
Try and break it
See what happens
Mine won't break again
But yours still might!!

My latest poem. And i think its the best one ive written to date.. Comments would be appreciated thanks.
You have a smile, that brightens up my day, I haven't seen a smile, like yours for a while. Your eyes shine, brightly like the stars,they are o so fine. You have a voice like an angel, I could listen to you all day, you really help me find my way. When I'm feeling down, all I do is close my eyes, that's when I see your face, and I always get back to pace.

Happy birthday to you
You are another year older
But still quite young.
Enjoy the young years
They are the best.
Many more to come with
Your loved ones around.
Treasure these moments
They will speak a thousand words.
Remember the best years
They may not always be this good!
Many happy returns.

So here's a poem I wrote for someone to put a smile on her face...
You have a smile
That lights up my day
Even though I haven't seen
It for a while.
Your eyes light up the night sky
They are stars that shine.
Everytime I see a star
It reminds me of you.
Your beautiful wavy
Blonde hair looks
Just like the waves in the sea.
It always amazes me
How you get it wavy
You'll always be someone's baby.
