Join us on Sunday 3 August in the charming surroundings of the Barn Museum in Tannaghmore Gardens where we will be hosting a Heritage Skills Open Day as part of Love Parks week.

During the day you will have the opportunity to meet the experts, who are keeping our ancient crafts alive, while stepping back in time at the Barn Museum. On the day there will be basketweaving, buttermaking, coppersmithing, leatherworking, woodturning and weaving with Welig Heritage Crafts; Redsmith's Forge; The Irish Saddler; Born In A Field - Hand weaving; and Rosemary Verner.

Come along for what is sure to be a fun filled and informative day!

Handelโ€™s Messiah at Brownlow Castle โ€“ An Evening of Elegance and Music

Come along for a truly special evening at Brownlow Castle as we present a performance of Handelโ€™s Messiah by the TU Dublin Conservatoire Choral and Orchestral Society. Set within the grandeur of the historic ballroom, this event offers a unique blend of classical music and fine dining.

Guests will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea from 5:00 pm in our
elegant dining room before moving to the ballroom for a captivating performance by the 50-strong ensemble, celebrating the Lurgan connection to William Brownlow, who famously played the harpsichord on the opening night of Messiah in Dublin in 1742.

For those unable to join this date, the same exceptional
performance will also be held on the 6th of June 2025 at the Craigavon Civic Centre, offering an alternative way to experience this musical masterpiece. Tickets for this date are ยฃ15pp.
