We had an absolute blast today setting up this Sensory Space for our friends at Rushmere Shopping Centre today!

With immersive and interactive features to spark curiosity and support inclusive play, including:

✨The plan? A full podcast plus micro-content, ready for next-day release to highlight some of the winners at an awards ceremony!Planning 🎯Editing long-form and micro-content overnight is no easy task. We needed as much information as possible in advance to create an efficient editing structure—essentially making it as simple as dropping in the clips as they came in. That meant knowing exactly:📍 What was being filmed📍 When it was being filmed📍 Who was being filmed📍 How it was being filmedFilming 🎥With interviews coming in from a live event, filming had to be seamless. We used a single 4K wide-angle shot, allowing us to crop multiple angles (wide, close-up of host, close-up of interviewee) for pillar content and resized compilations for different platforms. Audio was kept simple—a handheld mic for quick back-and-forth conversations.Editing ⚡Editing prep was key, and everything happened on-site in real time. After each interview, the editor:✅ Captured the footage✅ Enhanced the audio✅ Created a multi-cam edit (wide, host close-up, interviewee close-up)✅ Colour-graded all clips✅ Cut between angles based on the best shotsThis process was repeated for every interview and built into a master timeline—already prepped with an intro and outro filmed before the event even started. Meanwhile, the best clips were pulled for micro-content, ready for a fresh editor to work on at 6 AM the next morning!Quality Control ✅The pillar edit was completed 90 minutes after the event, followed by a final quality check with the client. Thanks to all the pre-planning, this stage was smooth—just minor tweaks to angles and structure. Once approved, it was exported and handed over for next-day distribution.Big Thank You 🙌A huge shoutout to Caroline for keeping us involved as part of the DIGG For Success team—it’s always a pleasure working with her and ! We produce immersive performances ranging from family fun days, themed stage shows, street theatre, puppetry, and interactive walkabout experiences. We've been working with Little Forget Me Nots Trust to capture highlights from their 5th birthday celebration, along with producing other content while we were there.

Little Forget Me Nots provides both practical and emotional support to families, easing some of the burdens they face. Through specialised support programmes, they connect families with trusted facilitators, including expert art therapists and community support workers, who offer guidance with sensitivity and care. Their team works tirelessly to build and maintain these relationships, ensuring every facilitator has the experience and compassion needed to support families on their unique journeys.

As part of their Just Be Social initiative, they hosted a wonderful event featuring mocktails on arrival, a panel discussion, and a special screening of the new Bridget Jones’s Diary. This initiative creates a welcoming space for families to come together, share memories, and honour their loved ones through group activities and events.
