Many electric e-scooters use lithium-ion batteries — powerful, lightweight, and efficient, but they also carry risks if not handled correctly.

Lithium-ion batteries can overheat, catch fire, or even explode if damaged, overcharged, exposed to water, or charged with the wrong equipment. These fires are fast, intense, and very difficult to put out.

Safety tips:
• ✅ Always use the original charger that came with your scooter.
• ✅ Charge in a well-ventilated area — never under your bed or near flammable items.
• ✅ Avoid charging unattended or overnight.
• ✅ Keep your scooter away from extreme heat, cold, or direct sunlight.
• ✅ If you notice unusual smells, heat, swelling, or smoke — disconnect power immediately and move the scooter to a safe outdoor space.

Remember: lithium-ion technology is safe when treated with respect. Look after your battery, and it will look after you. 🔋💡
