All of us at AUK Studios are saddened by the loss of Anthony Stewart Head.

An incredible talent and an incredible human, Anthony is perhaps best known for his roles in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Merlin and, most recently, Ted Lasso. Anthony lent his voice to the character of Guichard de Montbalm in the full cast recording of Robin of Sherwood: The Knights of the Apocalypse.

Our own Barnaby Eaton-Jones remembers the encounter fondly: "His ability to go from lighting up the studio one minute, pretending the villain should have a Birmingham accent, to leaving an icy chill in the air as we hit record and he dropped his voice to an evil whisper, was astonishing... On that day of recording, opposite the brilliant Colin 'Sixth Doctor' Baker, he just provided a masterclass in audio acting. He and Colin, sparring across microphones was something I'll never forget.""

Our thoughts are with Anthony's family and friends at this time.
