I’m coming for you! 😂

Brought in my gear, had no eclipse glasses, I wasn’t prepared for the eclipse, but I was prepared for my flight to Alicante! I had my DSLR, Lenses, Polarising filter, Insta 360, Ray-Ban Metas and my iPhone 16 pro max! Enough gear to get a good photo of the Solar Eclipse! But with only 2 hands and limited time before I had to report for my flight, the best I could do is snap a few pics from my iPhone and call it a day! 😂 Oh well there’s always next year! 2nd August 2027 for the next eclipse! I will be better prepared! 🙋‍♂️💯🙈

ATC: “BlueJet 3 Alpha Tango, continue present heading.”

Captain: “Unable, Paris. Requesting a 5 minutes hydration break. First Officer is feeling a bit thirsty.”

While usually my cabin crew have been trying to drink the same bottle of water since the briefing at 4 a.m. 😭

Yes, ofcourse the FIFA players welfare comes first! Should apply that mindset globally and say every human beings welfare should come first.

Oh, and I Love Erling Haaland! Best thing to have come out of the World Cup for me! Legend!

It was a long delayed duty to Tenerife because of all the bad weather around today which had caused slots and severe delays, and in addition to that we were all missing the footy ⚽️ so we had a little fun onboard with a game of our own. Guess the score. Closest wins a prize! 🏆

Made the day a little more interesting in addition to all the other dramas we faced during the day. Well done Haydon and thanks for stepping up as an upranker today, if not we would have all been waking up poolside in Tenerife today!! 🥹😆🌴🩳

I’ll just wait for the update of the update!🗿📲

The latest eCrew app which pilots and Crew rely on - feels like it’s been made with technology from ancient times. Unfortunately, a lot of third-party roster apps are blocked. - and those apps worked really well in keeping Crew updated about their rosters and their changes. Looking forward to the new update, eCrew! 🤗

Can you answer the question at the end❓One for the avgeeks as it’s quite a hard one!

This was a typical day out to Morocco and back. 🇲🇦
It was one of those days that went smoothly with no dramas from the passengers, no ATC slots, just a little bit of bad weather enroute, but nothing major and beautiful sights.

Our routing was 🛫 Luton - London - Channel Islands - Brest Peninsula - Bay Of Biscay - Oviedo - across Portugal - Faro - Casablanca - Essaouira - Agadir 🛬

Departed on time, and arrived back on time as well. We love days like this with minimal disruption and having great crew makes the day 1000x better! 🧡✈️

One of the nicest things about having so much diversity in a company such as ours is that we can learn so much from each others cultures! One of my cabin crew being from Philippines gave me some amazing travel tips, so I’m heading that way in 2027 to explore the islands! 🏝️🇵🇭

Thanks to my wonderful crew for a great day out!

19 years flying for Easyjet 🍊 that was 2 weeks ago and I didn’t even realise it was an ‘anniversary’ - Sometimes it feels like time is accelerating the older we get and when the years pass by, it just feels like months! 🥹

I still recall my first few weeks at easyjet doing line training on the Boeing 737 as a very new and nervous first officer. I was flying with some seriously experienced captains, ex RAF, Ex Red Arrows, Ex long haul and cargo pilots. People who really knew how to fly a plane, and not just that - they were incredible leaders! I learned a lot from them, and took a page, sometimes chapters out of their book, and learned how to be a captain myself. It’s not just about flying a plane safely from A to B, but it’s about integrity, empathy, patience, compassion and respect towards everyone you work with. Some of those captains have now retired, but thanks to our regular curry nights in town, we get to still hang out!

We are all one team after all, and together we are out to achieve the same goal. Operate safely, support each other when needed, and have a nice day out in the skies together and get back home safely. ❤️
