Can you answer the question at the end❓One for the avgeeks as it’s quite a hard one!

This was a typical day out to Morocco and back. 🇲🇦
It was one of those days that went smoothly with no dramas from the passengers, no ATC slots, just a little bit of bad weather enroute, but nothing major and beautiful sights.

Our routing was 🛫 Luton - London - Channel Islands - Brest Peninsula - Bay Of Biscay - Oviedo - across Portugal - Faro - Casablanca - Essaouira - Agadir 🛬

Departed on time, and arrived back on time as well. We love days like this with minimal disruption and having great crew makes the day 1000x better! 🧡✈️

One of the nicest things about having so much diversity in a company such as ours is that we can learn so much from each others cultures! One of my cabin crew being from Philippines gave me some amazing travel tips, so I’m heading that way in 2027 to explore the islands! 🏝️🇵🇭

Thanks to my wonderful crew for a great day out!

19 years flying for Easyjet 🍊 that was 2 weeks ago and I didn’t even realise it was an ‘anniversary’ - Sometimes it feels like time is accelerating the older we get and when the years pass by, it just feels like months! 🥹

I still recall my first few weeks at easyjet doing line training on the Boeing 737 as a very new and nervous first officer. I was flying with some seriously experienced captains, ex RAF, Ex Red Arrows, Ex long haul and cargo pilots. People who really knew how to fly a plane, and not just that - they were incredible leaders! I learned a lot from them, and took a page, sometimes chapters out of their book, and learned how to be a captain myself. It’s not just about flying a plane safely from A to B, but it’s about integrity, empathy, patience, compassion and respect towards everyone you work with. Some of those captains have now retired, but thanks to our regular curry nights in town, we get to still hang out!

We are all one team after all, and together we are out to achieve the same goal. Operate safely, support each other when needed, and have a nice day out in the skies together and get back home safely. ❤️

We work with some awesome people! A lot of respect for the ramp crew who work in some nasty weather a lot of the time - if you know what British weather is like you know what I mean!! ☔️⛈️🌀

On this particular day when I was doing my walkaround, the lead ramp agent and trainer came to me and said it’s the tug drivers first ever push back, and to please bear with them while training.

So we in the flight deck decided to give him a score out of 10 and rate his pushback! He did a pretty solid job on his first ever pushback. Clearly a great trainer by his side and a top tier new tug driver at Luton Airport.

Sometimes it’s nice to do something a little different and put a smile on the faces of some of the people we work with! We are one team after all! ✈️❤️

I am humbled to be appointed as Pilot Outreach Ambassador for easyJet 🧡 My mission is simple: To inspire the next generation to consider aviation as a career. 👩‍✈️👨‍✈️ Comment the name of your school below for more info.

I’ll be personally visiting schools, and universities across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, speaking directly to students aged 16+ about the pathway to becoming a pilot and sharing real insight into training, career progression, and life on the flight deck.

Where possible, I will bring along members of our incredible cabin crew, engineers, and operations teams, giving students a broader understanding of the many exciting careers in aviation that keep an airline moving.

These sessions are designed to be informative, motivating, and honest, offering real world guidance from those living the profession every day, as well as answering any questions students may have.

There are only a couple of slots available each month, offered on a first come, first served basis. (Currently taking booking from APRIL - DEC 2026)

If you’re a student or teacher in Beds, Bucks, Cambs or Herts, and would like me or one of my colleagues to speak at your school or careers event, please DM me or comment below with the name of your school.

The Pilot outreach ambassadors cover other parts of UK as well, so if you are in close proximity to an easyjet base, please DM me and I will put you in touch with the team who will be able to organise a visit to your school or university.

I look forward to meeting you all! Let’s open that flight deck door to new opportunities! ✈️❤️

Who said Penguins can’t fly? 🐧

Every Pilot’s wings are built on sacrifice. 💪

Empty bank accounts. No certainty.
Doubt. Pressure. Fear. Persistence.

While some may take the easy road, dreamers stay motivated by their passion. ✈️

Like this viral penguin who walked away from his colony toward the mountains.

Alone, uncertain, misunderstood.
Chasing something only HE could see…
Every future pilot knows that feeling, and every current pilot (who had a childhood dream of flying) has walked that path before.

Walking away from comfort.
Walking toward purpose.

Dreams don’t come to those who wait.
They come to those who are brave enough to walk alone for a while… until they learn to fly. ✈️🐧

1. A very popular holiday destination! 2:50 flight time from Belfast, and saw a stunning sunset as well.

2. Where are We?

3. Very rare and beautiful high altitude Noctilucent clouds (250,000+ Feet) Also known as Night shining clouds.

4. The recent wildfires in Turkey. 🇹🇷 Hoping everyone is safe and well 🙏🏽

5. Antalya, another popular tourist destination from UK 🇬🇧✈️

6. Ground air cooling units trying to cools the cabin. Outside air temperature was 31 degrees, and this was what was maintained in the cabin. Not a great deal of cooling. 🥵

7. Unbelievable how bright it is past midnight in the Northern latitudes when flying north. ☀️

8. A stunning sunset in Portugal 🇵🇹

2 minute review of my day from LGW to AMS! 🤗

Alarm ⏰ went off at 0250am, I almost smashed my phone ‘very willingly’ - then dragged myself to the shower 🚿 briefly questioned my career choice 😮‍💨 then instantly discarded that thought, coz I know I really love my job 🧡 I’m just not an early morning person. 🙈

Reviewed the flight plans before I left my hotel, and knew it was going to be low visibility procedures in AMS. Great! 🙄 That usually generates an ATC slot restriction 😭 Question is how long will the delay be? 😐 My gut feeling was a long slot delay of atleast 90 minutes! 🫣

Turned up at Gatwick Airport at 04:30am to pick up my aircraft, a gorgeous A320 Neo with a list price of a cool $110 Million. I then met the crew, it turned out to be a check flight for me, 😬 we briefed, we boarded our pax, (dispatch tells us that we have 4 VIP’s on board) and then I got the fantastic news that our SLOT is in 3 HOURS!! 😭😭

Ah, the fun job of breaking the news to my passengers, who probably have very important morning meetings, Dr’s appointments, holidays, dates, coffee shop appointments etc,

As soon as I mentioned the 3 hour delay on the PA system, I could hear the groans and sighs of frustration by everyone - Understandably!! We tried every trick in the book to improve the slot. But no luck 🍀🚫 Now it was a waiting game… 30 minutes went by, suddenly we get a call from ATC saying our slot has come forward!! YASSS!!! Go time!! Sat everyone down and off we went …

Landed in AMS safely, quick turn around & back to LGW. 🇬🇧✈️ Saw an amazing sunrise, flew with a great crew, passed my check flight, renewed my Pilot Medical later in the day, and treated myself to the BIGGEST steak I could find. 😃

Great success! 👍🏽
