Is your “Ability to earn is limited” ?? sad, but it _can_ be reversed if you fix what Facebook flagged.
Here’s the exact game plan to get monetization back:
*Step 1: Find out WHY you were limited*
1. Go to *Meta Business Suite > Monetization > Policy Issues*
2. Or *Professional Dashboard > Monetization > Policy Issues* on mobile
3. Look for the red/yellow flags. Facebook usually lists 1 of 4 reasons:

*Step 2: Clean your page — do this TODAY*
Facebook’s AI re-scans your page after changes. Purge these:
1. *Delete all reposted content* - Even if you added text. If you didn’t film it, remove it.
2. *Remove copyrighted music* - Replace with Facebook’s Sound Collection audio.
3. *Fix spam signals* - Cut long hashtag blocks. Max 3-5 relevant hashtags now. Delete “comment to win” posts.
4. *Check comments* - If bots spammed your posts, hide/delete those comments. Facebook penalizes _you_ for fake engagement.
*Step 3: Submit an appeal the right way*
1. In *Policy Issues*, click *Request Review* next to the violation
2. Write 1-2 sentences max: “All unoriginal content has been removed. My page now only contains 100% original videos filmed by me. Please re-review.”
3. *Don’t spam appeals*. One strong appeal > 10 weak ones. Wait 7 days between appeals.
*Step 4: Prove you’re “original” going forward*
Facebook won’t restore you if you keep posting the same stuff. For next 30 days:
1. *Post 100% original* - You on camera, your content, your voice.
2. *Add value* - Talk over clips, add captions, show your face. “Meaningfully transformed” is the key.
3. *Consistency* - 1-2 posts/day. Ghosting makes it worse.
4. *No cross-posting* - Don’t upload the same TikTok to FB Reels. Film natively or edit differently.
*Step 5: Check payout eligibility — this trips up UK creators*
UK is approved, but Facebook still limits pages if:
- Your bank is Monzo/Starling and Facebook glitches the verification
- Tax info mismatch between your FB name and bank account name
Fix: *Payouts > Update > Use a high street bank + matching legal name*
*How long does it take?*
If you clean up + appeal: 3-14 days for review. If approved, monetization returns within 48hrs.
*Real talk*: With the new CMP rules from Aug 31, 2026, Facebook is killing “repost pages”. If most of your content wasn’t original, you may need 30 days of clean posting before they trust you again.
