So it's that time of the week again MONDAY!!
We hope your weekend has been kind?
Now for us to put our best foot forward, roll up our sleeves and say Bring It On! Lol

Starting with Piers at breakfast 7am to 10am, then Get Ready with Freddy 10 to 12 for a fun mix of music for everyone to enjoy.
At 4pm it's The Jo Show! This week there is music from the 70s, 80s, 00s. Disco, pop and even a little rock. So there is bound to be something in there for you all lol 😂

How important we do not forget those who have fallen so we can live free 🫡😞

🌺 Remembrance Sunday

This morning members of the team will be attending Remembrance Day services at Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea as the community joins together to remember all those who have given their lives for the defence of their nations

The Coastguard service has not always been only about peacetime search and rescue or maritime safety — it has a legacy of military commitment, sacrifice, and resilience.

The significant maritime experience and expertise of the coastguard personnel meant that within hours of Britain declaring war on Germany in August 1914, a huge number of Coastguards were enlisted as crew for Royal Navy vessels and immediately went to war at sea.

On 20 September 1914, a single German submarine sank the cruisers 'Cressy', 'Aboukir; and 'Hogue' off the Thames. Over 1,400 men, many of them Coastguards, drowned in these attacks. Torpedoes then sank 'Hawke' in October 1914 and 'Formidable' in January 1915 bringing the number of Coastguard deaths even higher. This tragic loss of life strikes at the heart of HM Coastguard’s history.

Today we pause and remember all those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the world - paying the ultimate sacrifice for our today.

To all our armed forces, those serving, our veterans and those to who have fallen, we thank you for your courage, dedication and service.
