Sara Bullimore shares a few words ahead of Sam Atkins' upcoming photography workshop, and if you haven't signed up yet, this might just convince you.

Hosted by photographer and educator Sam Atkins, the session is so much more than a day out with a camera. Expect image-making woven together with rich conversations around observation, attention, environment, and personal experience, all brought to life with a guided photographic walk along the beach.

📆20th June – Graffiti Art Workshop (Drop In)
Come and have a go at graffiti lettering and create your own A3 sketch to take home. The session will be led by a professional street artist, and you'll be using graffiti markers to get creative and learn some new skills.

Come and make a 2D fish lantern with Taylor Made Arts. In this fun family workshop overlooking the beach, you'll create a colourful fish lantern from willow and tissue paper.

We have just added a new workshop at Sutton on Sea Colonnade this Sunday, and all sessions across the programme are completely free to take part.
We have also opened up the age groups across many workshops, making it easier for more people to get involved.
NEW WORKSHOP
Join in: Dance, Games and Pickleball
Sunday 7 June
Colonnade, Sutton on Sea
No booking needed, just turn up
• Dance Workshop (Ages 5–7) – 10am to 11am
• Dance Workshop (Ages 8+) – 11.30am to 12.30pm
• Move and Groove Games – 1pm to 2pm
• Pickleball – drop in throughout the day
The day includes two dance workshops followed by a lively afternoon session led by a qualified instructor, plus the chance to try pickleball, a simple and social sport suitable for all ages.
