Find your book people at our FREE, friendly and welcoming monthly book club at the beautiful Seaview Colonnade.

Join us for a relaxed chat about the book over tea, coffee and biscuits (all included!), or treat yourself to something from Seven Districts Coffee House before we begin.

Everyone is welcome - come along on your own or bring a friend. We'd love to see you!
And don't worry about being the perfect reader... just try to read the book! It really doesn't matter if you don't finish it, and it definitely doesn't matter whether you loved it or hated it. In fact, the more different opinions, the better the chat!

Tomorrow is Authors Day at Seaview Colonnade, and we’ve got a brilliant (and FREE) day lined up!

From crime and murder mysteries to poetry, spoken word, children’s stories, memoir, fantasy and more, we’ll have a fantastic mix of authors and writers joining us throughout the day.

Half the tickets have gone already!

Our first two days of live drone presentations with Fraser of FMC Drone Services were fully booked, so we’ve brought him back for two more days at Seaview Colonnade.

And judging by the bookings so far, these are heading the same way!

Get up close to Fraser’s drones, learn more about how they work, see some of his aerial photography and watch the drones in action as part of the session.

Authors Day 📚

Join us on Saturday 5th September, 10am–4pm for a celebration of local literature and talent.

The Shoreline Room will be home to a mini literature market, featuring local poets, mystery authors, crime writers, children’s authors and more. Come along, browse their work, meet the authors and support some fabulous local talent.

There will also be a programme of free talks and spoken word sessions throughout the day in the Horizon Room:
