4am Thursday for a trip to Doncaster for our friends . Grand opening ceremony of a huge new warehouse complex construction project.

We received a phone call from the beautiful Peckforton Castle yesterday asking for urgent help. They had suffered a catastrophic power supply problem which had damaged the water pumps feeding the castle and the hotel. The whole venue has had to close until the problem is repaired. This has resulted in the long term hire of a 20kva generator with a separate fuel bowser (to avoid constant re-fuelling !)

We received a call at 10am on Saturday morning from a local sand quarry saying that they had problems with their mains sub-station resulting in no power to the whole site. This was not a huge problem as the quarry is closed at the weekend. However it turned out that the owners lived on-site and had no power either (which is not ideal in December !)
By 10:30am we had a 60kva generator connected and running, and this ran for the rest of the weekend whilst the fault was rectified.

Working for our our good friends this weekend.
Once again they created an absolutely beautiful Tipi venue in the grounds of a Derbyshire cricket club.
The smile on the bride and groom’s face when we collected the generator on Sunday morning told us how pleased they were that they had chosen Jack & Megan from Tipis in the Peak as their suppliers.
We supplied one of our quiet and reliable 40kva generators to power the catering, lights, band, dj and toilets etc.

Today we have been helping out our good friend Andy at

A local sand quarry had a power outage, so we supplied two generators to keep the offices and the quarry open and keep the wheels of industry turning !

Slightly more unusual job this weekend, supplying several generators for the Diocese of Shrewsbury at RC Churches around the Manchester area for some
4-day religious events.
These generators have ‘long running fuel tanks’ to avoid the need for re-fuelling during the event.

One of our ultra reliable Caterpillar / Perkins generators delivered to a very interesting job this week. This house is built from hay bales, which are then given a coating of clay and lime mixture. No need for cavity wall insulation here !
The generator is powering the mixing and spraying equipment. Sadly the pictures don't do it justice. It is absolutely amazing to see !
