In March I headed over to Berlin with my mate Luke. The aim was to do a bit of sightseeing whilst doing some street photography.

It has taken me a while to go through all of the photos and edit them in Lightroom. I took absolutely hundreds!

I started getting serious with photography in late 2020 during Lockdown. It’s only now I feel as though I am at a point where I would say I can take a decent image.

On 24th April I joined The New Macclesfield School of Art on their South Park photography workshop.

Part of the brief included capturing the contrast between nature and civic space.

I found myself drawn to the skate park and decided to experiment with my shutter speed.

I want to try to capture motion blur in the appropriate way, and become more confident in doing so.

If you live in / near Macclesfield and you see one of these workshops advertised, I highly recommend giving it a go. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. And it’s a great place to meet up with like-minded people.

I recently headed down to Bunker Vintage to get a sneaky peek of their store, before they open their doors to the public tomorrow.

The lads very kindly let me have a look around and get a few images for my zine. (Which will be available soon).

They have a great collection of vintage clothing and accessories, I would highly recommend heading down there and taking a look for yourself.
