Posting on stories all the time might feel like the right thing to do, but it could actually be hurting your reach.

If you’re showing up non stop, Insta starts to notice people skipping past your stories. That signals 👎🏻❌ content to the algorithm, and your stories get pushed further down the list.

Here’s what we do with our clients and we can PROVE it works…. ‼️ We take a 24 hour break ‼️
�It gives the algorithm a reset and bumps you back up the story queue next time you post. Your content feels fresh again, and people are more likely to watch.

Most people only watch 5 stories per scroll, if you’re halfway down that list, you’re probably not getting seen. So instead of posting for the sake of it, post with purpose.

The good news? Things are changing and if you move with it, you’ll see the results.

📉 Before the potential reach dropped off after 48 hours
📈 Now if your post is clear, it can stay searchable long after

Here’s how to make that work for you:
🔸 Use clear keywords in your caption, ones that your ideal client would put in the search bar
🔸 Write proper captions & avoid one liners
🔸 Add text overlays onto your Reels, Insta is reading them too when ranking your content
🔸 Comments are also being ranked, emoji only comments won’t help your reach (like 😍😍), comments with words will. “Eg. So helpful I’m saving this”
🔸Try pinning a question to your post to encourage proper replies

Instagram now ranks your content based on what you say, so your words need to work harder.
