Saturday Crew:
This week's Underground Sounds show is going to be a little bit different. It's still going to be all about upfront underground music you won't hear on many other radio stations, but with a twist this week. I'm going to bring you an auditory sensory, almost cinematic experience, taking you on a sonic journey courtesy of Fundamental harmonics. I'll be bringing you the full album, played in order as it was envisaged to be heard, and which is available now on Lepton Quark Records
"The universe didnât start with a beatâit started with a rupture.
Fundamental Harmonics traces that primordial shockwave through Origins of Galaxies, a 13-track odyssey of techno, ambient, and electronica that vibrates with the birth of stars, the groan of collapsing gas clouds, and the eerie silence before light; this album slowly depicts a soundtrack for cosmic dawn and progressively turns into it.
Listen, and remember: Youâre hearing oscillations, the components of matter are pulsating and learning to dance.
The album drifts between intensity and stillness, mirroring the evolution of matter itself; this album is less a collection of songs and more a sonic nebulaâa place where rhythm becomes redshift, where melodies collapse into gravitational waves.
Origins of Galaxies isnât just an album. Itâs a light-year-spanning elegy to the moment when darkness first caught fire."
âWe are all stardust, but some of us remember the explosionâ - Fundamental Harmonics.
Join me from 14:00 0n Saturday for a very different musical experience.
