A small dark spot on a tooth can be the start of a HOLE! Bacteria in plaque feed on sugar and make acid, and that acid slowly dissolves the tooth! 😔
The scary part is that early cavities often DON'T hurt, so people ignore them until the pain is unbearable! 🚨

😳 The most dangerous thing about tetanus is that symptoms can appear days or even weeks AFTER the injury, when the wound has already healed and everyone has forgotten about it! 😔
Warning signs 👇
😬 Stiff jaw that is hard to open (lockjaw)
🦴 Stiff neck and difficulty swallowing
⚡ Painful muscle spasms set off by noise, light or touch
🌡️ Fever, sweating and a racing heart
Severe spasms can affect breathing, which is why tetanus is a medical emergency! 🚨

💉 A farmer cuts his foot. A child steps on a nail. A mechanic gets a deep scratch. The wound looks small, and then days later the jaw locks shut! 😳
That is TETANUS, also called lockjaw! 🚨
The bacteria live in soil, dust and animal droppings, and they enter through wounds. It is not caught from another person! 😔
The good news: it is highly preventable with vaccination and proper wound care! 💪
