As part of our Neighbourhood Artists project artists Eggs Collective want to hear your stories about Stannington. Posters have been going up around and about asking you to get in touch by text or email, and over the next few weeks Eggs Collective will be here for some in-person story collecting. Come along to chat with them, and share your (ordinary and extraordinary) Stannington happenings, which will become part of an illustrated community map đź’š

Catch them at the following dates and locations:

Tuesday 30th September
12:30pm - 2:30pm: Rivelin Park Cafe

Friday 3rd October
11:30am - 1:30pm: Kafe Stannington
2pm - 3:30pm: Stannington Library

Saturday 4th October
12pm - 2pm : Rose and Crown Pub (Minnie's)

Monday 20th October

🍂Bradford, you were absolutely ripe🍎

Thank you to everyone who joined us and our musty robes to harvest the dark, at Eggs Collective’s Dark Nights Part Deux.

You guessed tins, you weighed apples, you penned odes to Autumn that have had Keats spinning in his grave. And all hail our autumn monarch, crowned in a storm of leaves and B&Ms finest pumpkin spice haze.

Unholy gratitude to our ritual accomplices & Johnny The Biblical Rapper for their offerings to the compost heap. Big thanks to team and volunteers for all their support.

Up next, the finale - winter solstice. The darkest night yet. 12th December, at Loading Bay. Until then, stay cursed children, and don’t eat the yellow conkers.
