🥳 It was my birthday last week, 50 trips around the sun. Seems like quite a significant milestone!! I’m not complaining though, always a privilege to get older.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to my wonderful friends, family and work mates for making (all) the celebrations so much fun and for all the effort in planning lots of ace stuff…I’ve had a blast!!🙏🙏🙏 Here’s to the next decade🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Joining in with open call and adding my boat ‘Hoping for peace, Sending love’ to the flotilla of paper boats being created as part of the ‘From every River to every Sea’ : a global solidarity campaign for Palestinian Life and Liberation❤️

The Global Sumud Flotilla of dozens of boats has set sail today from ports around the world heading towards Gaza. Their aim is to break the siege and bring urgently needed food, medicines and supplies to the people there.

Keeping everything crossed for their safety and success 🤞🏻❤️

✂️ Well, I had such a fun day yesterday working on these little collages as part of …thank you so much .collage.collective for the prompts and for organising this fab event. It has been a wonderful opportunity to ignite creativity and just play around with paper🙏🤩 and a fab way to discover lots of new collage artists.

The prompts I used are in no particular order and were just the ones that sparked an idea for me:

New artwork in progress on the desk today✂️😍

I bought these tiny cards from the antique place in Saltburn in February and have been meaning to do something with it ever since.

A monument built for love…the Taj Mahal❤️…I’m thinking love letters, heart motifs etc, we’ll see how it develops.

It’s also an unofficial collaboration with .metcalfe.art as I’ll be using some of her collage pack papers in this one😍

We’ve had such a fun week staycationing in Yorkshire. It really does have it all; stunning countryside, beautiful coastline, some lovely racecourses and vibrant cities…plus LOADS more, we barely scratched the surface of this amazing county we are lucky enough to call home🥰

FESTIVAL POSTCARD FUN…

As if the whole Glastonbury experience wasn’t magical enough, having my artwork as part of the festival tradition was truly special ❤️ and seeing people choosing my postcard as a momento of their time here or to send to their friends and family is something I’ll never forget ☺️

Getting to meet the very lovely Hester (final two pics)- who’s Mum and Dad started selling the postcards at Glastonbury 45 years ago, and it’s still a huge family affair to this day, was such a joy😍 Thanks again for the opportunity and the memories 😘

✨ I finally got my act together and put some of the new stuff I had done for the Saltaire Makers Fair into my Etsy shop!😅

Now available…the Saltburn cliff lift A4 digital print and the ‘Dive’ wooden brooch (perfect for all you wild swimmers out there!) go take a look👀

I will be adding more of my original collages to the shop over the next few weeks too but until then just message me if there is something you have seen that you like but isn’t in the shop🙏

✨WINNER!!…I can’t believe my little collage postcard entry ‘find it in the fields’ actually got picked as one of the winners! I was soooo excited when I got the news, partly because I never win anything but mostly because I am going to Glastonbury for the first time this year. I was already feeling pretty lucky for bagging a ticket in the first place (thanks to .metcalfe.art ❤️) and now this!! I can’t wait to send out some of my postcards from Worthy farm and it’s a huge thank you from me to for picking my collage from all the , I’m sure, amazing entries. Glastonbury is in three weeks and the excitement levels are HIGH and this has been the cherry on top 🍒of what I’m sure will be an incredible experience…full of love, joy, magic, peace and unity🤩

💫 Well, that was a blast! I’ve had such a great weekend at the Saltaire Makers Fair.

Thank you for the opportunity and for organising such a lovely event and also a big thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped with set up and keeping us supplied with tea and coffee🙏

A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by my stand and said lovely things about my work and of course to all you superstars who bought something. When you are starting a bit of a new venture this kind of encouragement is priceless☺️

It was really great to see so many friends, old and new and I’m so appreciative to know so many wonderful people who always support me and my work🙏🙏

Lastly, a big shout out to my lovely stall buddies; for making the weekend a lot of fun 🤩

Just having a bit of a chill out day today and getting a few bits listed on my Etsy shop. Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend .

ONE DAY TO GO!!! …join me and 69 other wonderful makers at Victoria Hall this bank holiday weekend for the Saltaire Makers Fair…so much beautiful, hand crafted goodness in one place!

As if that wasn’t enough there is the Arts trail going on in the village, workshops, demos and exhibitions at Salts Mill…it’s going to be soooo good. Hope to see some of you there!🤩
