WHEN I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD "LA ILAHA ILLALLAH"

For years I was tired...
Tired of pleasing people who were never pleased.
Tired of fearing people who could not even help themselves.
Tired of trusting doors that kept closing on me.

Then my heart whispered:

Ya Allah... is it not only You?

La ilaha illallah.

No one can hurt me except by Your permission.
No one can bless me except by Your mercy.
No one can forgive my hidden sins except You.

I raised this one finger not for the camera...
I raised it because my soul finally remembers.

There is only ONE who heard me cry when no one else did.
Only ONE who knew my pain when I was smiling outside.
Only ONE who will be with me in my grave when everyone leaves.

His name is Allah.

If your heart is heavy tonight, close your eyes and say it with me from your soul:

La ilaha illallah — لا إله إلا الله

There is no love like Allah's love.
There is no help like Allah's help.
There is no god but Allah.
