London-based duo Druid and Jok present 'Terminals' - a stunningly bleak and beautiful album of cinematic melodies, layered textures, and weightless ambient drops. Crafted over Covid lockdowns, this project builds immersive soundscapes, teasing elements of rave and dream punk. Named 'Terminals' for its dual meaning of how under lockdown the population both became reduced to terminals in the online network atomised and isolated in individual bedrooms but also representing airport terminals and a frustration to escape. The album is a powerful representation of the contrasting emotions felt during lockdown, with melancholic tracks for reflection and bright tracks to move through.
