After months of work, travel, and creative collaboration, we are finally ready to share the first episode of Sounds Like Home.

This series started with a question: What sounds like home?

We set out to explore that through the ears of sound designers and field recordists around the world, people who dedicate their lives to listening closely and capturing what most of us don’t even notice.

As directors and producers, we’ve followed this idea across borders, the result is a series of short film portraits that place sound, and the people behind it, at the centre of the story.

Episode 1 is now released and takes us to Kragujevac, Serbia, where Danilo is trying to record the sound of a disappearing car: the Zastava 101.

Last week, Freedom One Life teamed up with New Take Films to complete filming on 'Race Across Europe in a Series 5' an incredible powerchair-led adventure that saw participants racing across the continent while four dedicated film crews captured every moment.

Freedom One Life was founded many years ago to create a powered wheelchair designed through lived experience for the real world.

Four powerchair users have raced across Europe with a Series 5 powerchair and enjoyed the benefits of using a powerchair designed by powerchair users.

This groundbreaking co-production explored the realities of accessible travel, proving that with the right powerchair technology, support network, and careful planning, disabled adventurers can explore Europe to the fullest.

The race documented how thoughtful preparation and cutting-edge mobility solutions can transform the European travel experience for powerchair users, turning potential barriers into conquered destinations.

Watch this space for more information about the full episodes releasing later this year, because this co-production has created something truly special.

A truly gruelling job but someone has to do it.

Khalas habibi! That's a wrap on my latest Middle East adventure 🇧🇭

I had the privilege to direct a new documentary for BNET - Bahrain Network on behalf of Acumen Media with Tomasz Farys and the London team.

Huge shout out to DOP Aref Falamarzi and the incredible team over at bMedia Video Production and Animation in Bahrain to bringing it to life.

We wrapped on this project last Friday and now taking it into post-production.

BAFTA screening of our latest documentary!

It was an honour to have our documentary screened to a full house in BAFTA followed by a fantastic panel discussion and an incredible audience.

Herzl, starring David Baddiel and Stephen Fry, will be coming to a screen near you soon. A historical, presenter-led documentary, created in order to build bridges and progress towards a unified, peaceful world.

Last week we filmed a well known South Asian restaurant...

If you know it, you know it.

However what I don't know is how the crew managed to stay focused with all the ridiculously delicious food around them.

Over the last two years we've been working on a historical documentary that takes us back into the past in order to strive for a more unified future.

Incredibly proud to have worked on this with the Window Zebra Productions and New Take Films, and especially to Dominic Howlett for bringing it to life with his vision, dedication and 0 hours of sleep and Paul D. Jones for masterfully editing it all together!
