There is something that many men do that I've not been able to wrap my head around.

Your guy comes to you and tells you how he needs at least food or little cash to sort out things chocking them up and instead of either accepting to help them out or decline, you will decide to take them to a bar and get them drunk and most times abandoning them at the bar in their drunk state.

You know you don't want to help out, why them did you give them a flicker of hope and them compound their problem? You are treating your gee like trash and giving strange ladies exotic treats forgetting that if the table were turned it is your guys you would have to run to.

We can do better.
