Poet legend Biz takes us through a journey of spoken word and songs with striking poetic lyricism, from jazz to neo-soul, indie and electronica - truly a soothing and evocative listen!

Donsurf & Sharari shelled it out at our recent 5th birthday - two hours of bumpin broken beat and disco thumpers, including a live rendition of their unreleased collaboration ‘Reach Out’. We’ll be broadcasting the first hour.

Live from our Steam Happening in October, The O’Gorman dynasty brought a blend of psych rock and esoteric bangers! More music to put you in a right mood…

To round off the day we revisit Gardenatrix’s latest show - two hours of raucous chopped amens, breakcore and footwork flavours. With an archivist’s meticulousness Gardenatrix showcased the women that shaped and define jungle.

If witches had radio, what would they listen to? In this show Aisha uses her own interest in fictional, historical and present day spellcasters to make a musical proposition for songs to keep witches locking in, one to stir your coffee to.

Join Silene on a voyage of the in-between where thoughts drift and memories echo, this is one of my all time favourite shows of the year - one to have in your headphones for your midwinter walk, or on the speaker for a sweet afternoon stretch.

One to facilitate a moment of reflection in your day, for Las Buenas debut steam show, listen for synthesiszed dreamscapes, with just a little dash of heavy distortion

Warm up your afternoon with this sweet steam debut from Work Party, spanning disco, soul, new wave and more this pair strike out with two hours of quality tunes that start out slowing your heart rate betfore they speed it back up again. As a DJ she enjoys moving across a broad tempo spectrum, from ambient soundscapes and rolling, spacious downbeat to high-octane breakbeat.

We’re just about recovered from Friday, thanks so much to everyone that played, danced and helped out on the night! No rest though because this Saturday we’re heading over the Pennines to Sheffield and setting up shop at Grub Records for the day.

For those in Sheffield, come join us in action for a boogie and bev, and we’ll also be on air in the usual spot between 2pm and midnight. Free entry all day and night and a lovely selection of natural wine, gonna be a fun one.

Tomorrow is the big day! Providing the finishing touches to a lovely lineup we've got and .k_ from the Mixed Signals crew. Their other 1/3rd is away at a wedding for this one and will be missed! Since when did weddings take precedence over birthdays tho? Expect experimental tones, infectious rhythms, and deep, danceable basslines from these guys, on the tunes from 10-11pm.

And on the 9pm slot we've got Fuergo aka ! A steam regular for the last few years, his radio shows have touched on pretty much every genre under the sun. We hear rumours of some house and techy vibes for this one – the kind of floor filling sounds needed to digest three portions of birthday cake.

It's gonna be fun, grab a ticket via RA to save a bit of money and stress. We might have a limited number left on the door but it's looking like a busy one! Link in our bio for tix.

We're two days out from turning five! Between baking birthday cakes and packing party bags we thought we'd stop to introduce another two of the selectors for Friday. This duo, and , will be seeing us through from midnight to 2am with two hours of serious grooves and silly times. Both are super versatile DJs and could take the party in any number of weird and wonderful directions - all of them interesting, fun and deeply danceable.

Sharari is an artist and archivist who, beyond DJing, works across many realms of music, poetry and curation. No stranger to radio, she's presented on .fm at and is a regular face on and .radio. Donsurf meanwhile is a heavyweight in the world of bruk and broken beat, if you aren't familiar with his discography by now then you've got 2 days to get to know. A seriously talented producer with a real ear for a groove - there are a lot of sonic treats in his arsenal.

Can't wait to see what these two pull out of the bag for Friday! Last few general release via the link in our bio - grab one before the price goes up and save a couple of quid.

Boz is an ambient downtempo obsessive. As a visual artist focusing on procedural experimentations, she pulls a lot of her musical inspiration from her visuals. Exploring the cross section between technology and electronic music. Expect heavy dubs and synthesized explorations for transcendental dancing and bopping heads.

✨ Jameel

Jameel is a Manchester raised, baby selector, and fully fledged bedroom scientist experimenting with the soundtracks of life. An intentional listener with a tapping foot drawn to glitches, beats and melodies; looking forward to exploring all the wonky bangers with you!

✨ SConductor

SConductor (aka Youran) is a DJ and selector born in Zhejiang, China, now based in Manchester. Drawn to the hypnotic pull of the 4/4 rhythm, she finds herself lost in the tension between the old and the new — where classic house grooves, breakbeat textures, and electronic pulses intertwine on the dancefloor. For her, rhythm is both escape and expression, a way to translate what words cannot.

✨ Dylan B

Dylan B is a Manchester-based DJ with a record collection spanning anything danceable - from jazz and street-soul rarities to disco, soulful house and classic UK garage.

Without blowing our own home bargains plastic flute too much, we are super proud to have lasted a whole 5 years as a volunteer led DIY project. It has been the wildest of rides with many highs and some deep lows (RIP the Old Abbey Tap). But we are still here!
