Autumn is the time for PBs. The fish have been feeding up all year and are usually at their biggest! The autumn weather is drawing in and there are less and less anglers venturing out, quiet banks and the opportunity for big fish is when I enjoy my fishing the most! Can’t wait for the coming season, it kicks off with this video set to launch Tuesday at the usual time of 16:30 GMT. Also Deeper sonar have been in contact with me about producing some autumn carp fishing footage, so you can look forward to some 24 and 48 hr sessions between now and Christmas! Tight lines all

This week has been a strange one, tough fishing …BUT a week of PB’s for me! I have managed to get out on the bank for some longer sessions and I’m excited to get those videos edited and uploaded for everyone to watch! The first of them will be another lodge lake video, I know a lot of you have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment. Can you believe that I’m already on the run up to 20,000 subscribers!? 15k seemed two minutes ago. I’m very humbled. It’s still my goal, as it was from the start, to be one of the best all round anglers out there. Anyone can turn up to the same fishery and bag up every week, but that would get old fast. It takes time and practice, a garage full of tackle and of course blanks 🤣 to become good at all types of fishing. More sea fishing and lure fishing will be this winters challenge! The river explorer series continues ! This time targeting Perch on the feeder. Perch like a lot of fish thrive in well oxygenated water so finding rapids or weirs can be a good place to start your search. Look for river stretches that aren’t occupied by Trout as they tend to outcompete the Perch. Hope you enjoy the video! It’s live on YouTube now!

Another week another method feeder fishing video! This week I’m at Limbrick fishery testing out my new fusion pellet dye and flavouring. Don’t be disheartened if you’re struggling to get fish on the bank this week, everywhere is fishing hard. Lots of rain after a dry spell can put fish off the feed for a few days, but usually a heavy feeding spell soon follows 🤞🏻🎣

The river explorer series has taken me to some beautiful stretches of river across the north of England over the last few weeks! While river fishing is challenging it’s also very rewarding when you catch on a new stretch. I recommend to anyone thinking of trying river fishing, get yourself on a local book and turn up and give a stretch a go. A nice change from busy commercials. Hope everyone is enjoying the series, I should be posting one commercial feeder/ carp video and one river video every week time permitting!

Spent my Sunday morning out on the Ribble Targeting Grayling trying out my new closed faced reel. The grayling didn’t seem to be on the feed but me and ended up with a good bag of chub, dace and 1,000,000 minnows. Enjoyable day !
