As I promised in my last video I’m continuing to test out different supermarkets baits! The choices and options are quite literally endless, but this week I have opted for garlic! It was a struggle to get out filming this week, I haven’t been well, I won’t get into the details but I managed to squeeze this session in between hospital and drs appointments, orders and deliveries. As usual on westys angling session didn’t exactly go to plan either 🤣😅 The video should be uploaded by tonight 🎣👌🏻

With my product line and website going from strength to strength I haven’t done anywhere near as much fishing as I’d of liked to do this year! But the product line is almost in place and with the school holidays out of the way I’m hoping to take advantage of the quieter banks and get some fishing done and content filmed for you. The supermarket baits video using mussels absolutely took off and the support in the comments of that video was brilliant. One of the most enjoyable parts of fishing is using different baits and different techniques, there is no right or wrong way to fish. The goal is to be outdoors and have fun.

Just had a walk down the canal, trying for both pike and perch, spotted a couple of pike and a huge perch but they weren’t for committing. One thing I did notice is the shift in season, today felt like autumn! 🍂 Even though I didn’t catch anything, my tackle performed great, my nymph rod casting the 5g chatterbait with no problem, feeling every vibration on the blade, the diver grub lures looking great in the water and not to mention my Hydropak waterproof rucksack doing its job of keeping my lures etc dry in the rain. Looking forward to more lure sessions this winter.

The weather is going to be atrocious tonight! So I can’t see many of you venturing out. Don’t worry though I have your fishing fix covered. I’m bringing my next video forward and launching tonight at 16:30 GMT! There has been a lot of hype around mussels this year and baits seem to come round in trends. Let’s put them to the test in this next supermarket bait video using them as a hookbait on the method feeder!
