GENERAL SALEH SLAPS BOBI WINE OVER FLOPPED NUP DEMOS
Bobi and NUP had been in slumber since the last elections, and the call to action announced for the 8th of May inspired new hope and direction, but this was shortlived.
What was thought to be a well prepared, well organised and well cordinated day of action came and passed like any other week day and is now dubbed the biggest NUP flop since its launch.
Compared to previously organised political action by Besigye and his FDC, the NUP demo flop not only points to Bobi Wine's waning command over the activist community but also paints NUP and Bobi as inept charlatans posturing as leaders of the Ugandan opposition.
Not one fire was lit, not even a gathering of 10 activists any where and above all the cowardly principal locked himself up in his plush home in Magere with his brother Nyanzi of the Kunga fame, feigning worsening ligament pain .
It has now emerged though that aside the low activists morale, lack of resistance infrastructure and waning trust of foot soldiers in the principal and his cohorts , the demos program could not be effected due to external factors revolving around General Saleh.
It is emerging that the top NUP gang of 5 , namely Bobi wine, Rubongoya, Nyanzi , Senyonyi and Katana are aware of the secret pact requiring that they seek clearence from General Saleh before any political.move which they did not do this time.
GEN SALEH SLAPS KYAGULANYI
Having announced demos without clearance , the NUP gang of 5 were invited to Namukenkera where they arrived in the night of 6th May.
It is reported the NUP visitors did not find the General in the usual mood.
Immediately upon arrival he asked why Bobi Wine does not pick his calls and why they were increasingly becoming rebellious.
He demanded to know who had cleared their announced demos which had a potential of causing chaos, loss of life and property in the city.
Bobi began stammering, and before he could say a word, the General landed a sharp slap onto face.
Chairman Nyanzi was only spared because of a limb in plaster.
The General left them waiting as he headed out for another meeting that lasted for about 3 hours. He returned at 4am in the morning of 7th.
BOBI WINE PLEDGES NEVER TO ORGANISE ANY DEMONSTRATIONS
The General returned to the room at 4am for a short meeting. Bobi wine was the first to spring to his knees pleading with the General not to humiliate them further. He begged that they be allowed to leave since it was coming to daybreak.
He pledged before the General never again to engage in any demonstration or action that can destabilise Governement.
The General heeded Bobi wine prayers and allowed the gang to leave but not before reminding them of their pact with him and Government on avoiding engagement in any destabilising activity like demos especially in the central part of Uganda.
The General warned that the pact is the reason NUP is benefitting from huge money payments and other trappings from Government.
BOBI WINE RETURNS AND LOCKS HIMSELF IN MAGERE
It has emerged that for all the journey from Namunkekera to Magere in the wee hours of the 7th May morning, Bobi wine never uttered a word.
He was angry with Rubongoya for dragging him into a meeting with NUP'S patron during which he was humiliated and slapped like a primary school kid.
Bobi wine locked himself up in Magere for 2 days from the morning of 7th to the 9th May a day after the much anticipated "National Economic shutdown" on 8th May.
While he recorded an audio which circulated on social media to mobilize Ugandans for the "shutdown", the NUP supremo has never uttered a word in response to the flopped demos.
The public is gradually getting aware that Bobi Wine and his cohorts are collaborator of the state paid to divert the opppsition from organising meaningful resistance against the NRM establishment. .
