The Blue Moon Podcast

Launched in 2009, the Blue Moon Podcast started out as two Manchester City fans sitting in a silver Ford Fiesta in a backstreet in Manchester discussing the team’s performances every fortnight. After more changes in cast members than some TV soap operas, ten seasons later, the show has become a behemoth of a discussion programme - all still centred on the same, unique football club. It's now recorded in two radio studios, one in Media City and one in Oldham.

It is hosted by David Mooney and features regular guests - including Manchester City fans, bloggers, and journalists - all analysing the side’s performances, featuring in-depth reports, exclusive interviews, and discussing the main talking points of every week throughout the season. Each new show goes online in the early hours of Friday morning, ready for the weekend.
