It's been a minute since the The Waggonmakers Arms quiz league was updated but here it is and we have a new leader! Winning 4 out of the last 5 weekly quizzes has put Jonny in the lead by a single point! There's still a long way to go but we sense there's going to be lots changes at the top over the coming weels and months.

We're back on tonight from 9PM and we can't wait to see you all there.

Last Thursday saw us at the White Horse Hotel for our monthly quiz offering and once again it didn't disappoint, the pub was busy as usual with 16 teams taking part. Massive congratulations to the winners 'Beer Neccessity' who took top spot to put them 4th overall in the quiz league. The next one will be on the 30th May and we can't wait to see you all there!

Due to train strikes and work commitments this Sunday’s quiz at The Waggonmakers Arms has had to be cancelled. Apologies for this everyone we will be back a week on Sunday as usual.

We start our new monthly Speedquiz at the White Horse Hotel this Thursday, head down for a fantastic night with four rounds of general knowledge, themed rounds, music trivia and twitchy twitchy fastest fingers first fun. We can't wait to see you there.

Fabulous quiz last night at The Waggonmakers Arms, we had loads of fun over 4 rounds taking in a couple of general knowlledge rounds, a food and drink themed round and a TV theme tunes music round! Who knew that there are 4 noggins in a pint and that Cain is said to be the father of all vampires! Congratulations to last nights winner 'Ginger Spuds is Back', who fast tracked to first place mid way through the final round then held on agaist a very stong field of 20 teams to clinch top spot. For his efforts he bagged a hamperful of sweets, treats and chocolates.

Stephen Hawkin's Football Boots still hold top place in our league but they are being kept sharp by Jonny's weekly adventure updates and Mash who are within a single win of stealing the glory and with a long way to go anything is possible.

Don't forget we do this every Sunday night from 8:30PM. We're regulary getting circa 20 teams and places are at a premium so we'd suggest that if there's a few of you send the pub a message to book a table, see you all next week.
