Our Nathan's Paranormal Experience
Nathan Hughes: "I had a flat in London that I recently sold and on a few occasions while I lived there I had a lot of weird things happen. Getting out of the shower one day I felt a sharp blast of air blowing on my leg and turned around to see the towel blowing in the wind but there was not window's open and it was a tiny bathroom so no draft could come in from anywhere. The next week I cam home late from Work around 1am. I was putting the dry glasses away when in the corner of my eye I saw one of them move! I thought it must have been some moisture in the glass causing it to move. I dried it and put it back and carried on. Again it moved towards me. I check it again, the glass was bone dry the shelf was bone dry. So I put it back on the shelf...turned away and I heard it move again. I looked at the glass and said " Do that again!" and the glass moved forward towards me! I rang my dad who's advice was to not tell anyone/sell up and get the hell out of there!
A few weeks later my ex partner moved in with me. I'd told her about the weird happening in my flat the weeks previous. We were chatting in bed about Arthur C Clark of all people when we heard something metal fall onto the laminate flooring and bounce! We joked saying it must be the ghost, you go and see what it is!
The next morning we were heading off to Devon. I looked in the hallway and I found a tiny brass horse shoe! I'd been decorating that week and there was nothing on the walls as I'd just been painting them so the Horse shoe had seemingly fallen out of thin air! I asked Lisa if it was her's and it wasn't and there's no where it could had fallen from. It wasn't possible that somebody put it through the letter box as it was around a bend in the hallway. Anyway I put it on the wall and we went to Devon our first stop being Boscastle! There's a witch museum in Boscastle and when we walked inside we could not believe it, there were hundreds of the same mini brass horse shoes hanging up around the museum!"
I thought that's weird. So when we got back from Devon I emailed the museum sending them a photo of my mini brass horse shoe and asking them if they'd ever had any stories of apporting brass horse shoes! She said no but they would make a note of it.
I used to joke with Lisa by throwing it in the bathroom when she was getting ready! Stop it I know it's you! She'd scream! one day she picked it up and snapped it into 3 pieces! We moved to Sydney not long after and we lost it in the move! But we have 3 kids so I'm taking it as representing them as my lucky charms!"
