Our latest short film ‘Lost With You’ is out now on YouTube!

It follows two lonesome strangers played by Kelsea Knox and Scott Peebles, who meet beneath an aqueduct, they go for a walk and talk about their lives.

This film was the final film we completed on the MA course whilst at university, we shot the entire thing in a day; this was always a significant part of the research process. Inspired by Clint Eastwood’s laidback directorial approach, we utilised minimal takes to attempt to create a sort of dreamlike naturalism - the kind that is self aware enough to understand it’s existence within the planes of film, as reality. The tight deadline created a synergetic crew relationship and despite what you may think we all agreed that it was a fairly non-stressful shoot and very possible to shoot a fifteen minute film in a day.

We’re proud to announce the third and final film in the Evan and Danny trilogy titled ‘Anyways’!

In December 2020, we released ‘For Old Times’ Sake’, the first film following the lives of these characters. We followed this up with ‘Nowadays’ in December 2021 where it followed the characters and their lives one year later.

We are now releasing ‘Anyways’, the third chapter in the series. We will be releasing the film tomorrow on Friday, 23rd December at 5pm. This film follows the characters one year after the events of Nowadays and is the conclusion of the trilogy as well as our first Christmas movie!

If you haven’t seen the first two films then we encourage you to check them out on the Outcast Productions YouTube channel. ‘Anyways’ also works as a standalone film if you want to watch it without the added context of its two predecessors. Great evening last night for the screening of Floating Through Life. Thank you to everybody that came. It was a great turnout, we really appreciate the support.

HELLO!

We’re proud to announce that our debut feature film FLOATING THROUGH LIFE has just finished post-production. We are now about to enter the film into the festival circuit. In the meantime we will be posting frequently about the film.

Here is the first teaser that we will be sharing before the official trailer release next Friday, August 12th. We’re looking forward to a private screening sometime next month.

This film was made last year and we shot it in five days. With the pandemic at its peak, it was a challenging shoot but we worked tirelessly to make it happen and are very proud of what we’ve managed to create. The film is 67 minutes long and our first foray into the world of feature filmmaking. It is our most ambitious project to date and we’re excited to share it with you.

We would like to thank you for your continued support of our work.
