A few BTS shots from our Primark Christmas project with the team at Social Chain 🎄

While we’re always happy to work with supplied footage, we prefer capturing our own live-action plates on projects with heavy VFX when we can. It means we can control every detail and capture the data and environment to help us integrate 3D elements later on.

All this leads to shots that feel more realistic and natural (well, as natural as a giant Primark bag wandering around London can be!).

June, it’s been emotional (and warm!). Here’s a little peek at what we got up to last month:

001 / We kicked off the month helping Director and with some VFX support on their project for Gymshark

002 / We helped our friends at with some 3D animations for their client SNUG. They’ve made some lovely stuff for the launch, make sure to check it out!

003 / We took the night off to watch at the COOP Live. Amazing show with probably some of the best staging/visuals we’ve seen for a long time.

004 / Our next project for countdown went live, and is the first from our shoot in NYC earlier this year.

005 / We’ve helped the team at again with some edit jobs for new campaigns launching laster this year. Keep your eyes peeled 👀

006 / June saw another collab with Director and the team at 50 Sport this time, where we assisted with some VFX shots for the Qatar Airways ‘FIFA World Cup - One Year to Go’ film

007 / We attended a really interesting roundtable with some other winners from the recent Champions Awards, with AI being the topic of the day. Check out what we talked about here:

008 / And we wrapped the month with another night out (spoiled, we know…) to watch 28 Years Later. Well worth catching on the big screen if you can!

About last night…

We’re equal parts chuffed and humbled to have picked up the ‘New Agency to Watch’ award.

With such strong competition, it came as a genuine surprise - so massive congrats to all the other nominees and winners, cheers to the judges for their kind words, and a big thanks to Prolific North for putting on a brilliant night.

We couldn’t think of a better way to mark a whirlwind first 15 months in business. Huge thanks to everyone who’s trusted us with their projects so far - this one’s for you!

New 3D/VFX Work: Daymade TVC

We recently collaborated with Director and Producer Maggie Senior on the first TVC for prize platform ‘Daymade’.

We worked across the project, helping with pre-vis and supervising the studio shoot, through to compositing live-action footage into 3D environments we created and adding VFX elements to the Daymade prize box.
