A mix I did at work for international women’s month. Was my first time using CDJ 3000’s and I gotta say - they’re so dope and super responsive!! Anyways, every track in this mix features a female producer and/or vocalist. Actually ended this on a Sister Sledge track but YouTube was giving me grief about it so I trimmed it out. Will upload the full version to my Soundcloud before long but yeah - outside of that - Enjoy!! ✌🏾

Off to the Pirate Studios this weekend to record a mix for International Women’s Month. Gonna be doing a “Ladies of house” mix - with all tracks featuring female producers and/or female vocalists.

Dope Album Tuesday.
Erykah Badu's "Baduizm". Released in '97, I was browsing in a HMV when this was playing in the background so I decided to get it. My favourite track on this is "Sometimes (Mix #9)" which only lasts 45 seconds but is 45 seconds of dopeness. Still holds up and is a listen all the way through kinda album!

Tune huntin'! Been a while since I sat down and just went hunting for tune to mix - been at it all day and it's been so much fun!! Praise odin for Spotify - their "Find more like these" algorithms are 2nd to none! If you're a DJ with a Spotify subscription - "I can't find tunes" is a sentence you never need utter! And PRAISE ODIN Beatport updated their website a little while back. WAY faster and much easier to find the tunes you need since their long needed update!
