Been working with The Hollins school on a photography project capturing ’Youth Culture’ The first exhibition ‘The Wonder Years’ is currently hanging (thanks to for help with the mounts). Accrington Dome is an exciting new creative hub sure, to elevate Accrington’e creative future, pleased to be part of their first photography exhibition. Follow them for updates.

Thanks to some more of this collection will be going on tour, exhibiting around Lancashire as part of their ‘Keeping East Lancashire in the Picture’ project. First stop Accrington Library.

Pleased to announce the release of 'The Zen Art of Stone Squeezing' into the world.

This short film began with a phone call from local death doula Mary Clear and unfolded through a series of curious synchronicities.

John takes us through his life as a Dry Stone Waller and how, by integrating Kung Fu into his practice, he has been able to overcome adversity and live a life of poetry, where inner places seem to match and coincide with the physical landscapes he finds himself working in.

After filming, John humbly apologised for "messing it up": but the film's journey on the film festival circuit tells a different story. With 19 film festival selections, 4 award nominations, 2 Quarter-Finalist spots, 3 Semi-Finalist placements, and an impressive 10 awards, including 2 ‘Best Key Cast member John Mounsey’ Awards, all this tells us: No John, you didn’t mess up!

Been getting fascinating feedback from my Soundbaths. People are having healing visions, from talking to deceased pets, to swimming with whales. Some also say they have had relief from great pain.

What do 'The Zen Art of Stone Squeezing' and the latest Star Wars adventure, 'Andor' have in common? They both feature the mighty Tim Plester on the credits!

Tim gave some great advice, so I thanked him on the credits, little did I know the Star Wars geek in me would get such a thrill of (spoiler alert), surprisingly seeing him breathe life into a much anticipated droid resurrection scene!

Andor is easily the best thing Disney have done with Star Wars and could well be the best TV drama content out there at the moment.

Well done, brother, may the force and endless convention appearances be with you!
