Ochre filled adits here in this old abandoned coal mine from around 1880 to 1910.

Some very nice codd bottles in here dating to 1903 and some old miners graffiti.. Sadly this mine is now sealed.

Looking down a square boarded winze deep inside an abandoned fluorspar mine in Derbyshire.

The blocked sections and red painted warnings in this mine made it feel like a scene from The Walking Dead.

We lifted one of the curtains to see what was going on behind it.
