Real change starts with being heard.

This client came to us feeling stuck: physically in pain, financially stretched, and emotionally low.

She didn’t want counselling. She just wanted practical help, someone to talk to, and the tools to carry on.

We supported her through housing applications, referred her for physiotherapy and pain relief, and helped her build a routine that fit around her life.

Now, Work Ready is taking its rightful place within the Economic Activity Trailblazer! 💫

From building CVs and sharpening interview skills, to exploring pathways into sustainable employment, Work Ready continues to do what it does best: give people the tools to succeed.

Workshops are hosted at Northmoor Community Centre, Longsight, every Monday, 10am–12pm.

Exciting news! Alchemy Arts’ new innovative initiative is about to hit Manchester. 💫

Over the years working across Greater Manchester, we’ve learnt that barriers to employment are complex, there is never one simple answer.

That’s why we are so proud to launch our Economic Activity Trailblazer Initiative, a bold new programme that allows us to get creative in tackling unemployment.

Through this project we will bring together a three-pronged support system. With three hubs across GM, we will create safe spaces where people can thrive. By blending employability, wellbeing, and creativity, we’ll be offering the most holistic support yet.

“I didn’t want you to contact my manager. I just needed to know what I could do.”

That’s what our client said when they joined Work Well. They’d been bullied at work for nearly 8 months, and felt completely stuck.

Together, we explored what bullying really looks like, the legal protections in place, and what their workplace should be doing. We walked through internal policies, drafted a plan, and supported them through the grievance process — right through to their phased return.

They now feel settled in a new department and said they were just glad it was “finally over”.
