We are now just four days away from our very first Day Party at down at Trafford Park, Manchester, and what a way to do it with a very special double headliner event with and Chicago's own both making their Manchester debuts together.

Cortona and Nick Stoynoff have been relentless with their releases on heavyweight labels such as Bedrock, Selador, Noff, District Records and many many more, as well as being almost permanent fixtures in the record boxes of the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Simon Russell and pretty much anyone who's anyone from the progressive house scene.

With support provided by the trusty and from as well as Joshua Brooks regular , this one is for the real prog heads and not to be missed.

Behold, the set times for You Think You Know Me and our first day party next Saturday.

We are now exactly one week from welcoming Cortona and Nick Stoynoff to town as they both make their Manchester debuts respectively. We would be very lucky to have either of these very special artists in Manchester individually, but to have them both play for us at the same time means the world to us.

Thank you so much to all who have already bought tickets as we are now in the Final Release.

Six years ago, just a couple of months after touching anything made by Pioneer for the very first time and being completely clueless about modern day progressive house after many many years away from dance music, I was literally thrown in at the deep end when Andy Holdsworth and Higgins asked me to support my joint-fave DJ ever..... None other than Anthony Pappa.

I even played twice as the clocks went back so I went back on after Anthony (after losing my USB as the lovely Louise still likes to remind me at every opportunity).

This is the night that kicked things off for me as I've gone on to play at quite a few other nights with many of the cream of the crop of the progressive (and occasionally house and trance) scene since.

I wasn't even Manchild at this point either as I was using my full name (which took up far too much room on flyers) and reluctantly shortened it about a year later.

I think I've done quite a lot in just six years (even less if you count COVID) but I hope there will be many more years of opportunities to come before I hang up the headphones forever and take up knitting w***y warmers or something.

Even if I never get booked again, I can't complain.

It was so cool to finally meet last night and to take over from him at Joshua Brooks in Manchester.

I've been a huge fan for a long time and love him hugely so it meant the world to me.

I will love him even more if he lets me have a copy of his edit of 'Rapture', though 😎

Either way, he was absolutely amazing last night, as always, just like before him who smash it every time 😊

Quivver + Manchild

Not only do we have two of the coolest DJ names in the whole world, but we have also just played together at my favourite venue in the whole world.

I've been a fan of Quivver for many years so to finally play with him has made me very happy.

Another legend has been ticked off my ever-shrinking bucket list, and not only did he play an absolute blinder of a set at Joshua Brooks but he was an absolute gentleman and such a lovely man.

I absolutely loved tonight and I hope I get to play with him again one day hun.

You Think You Know Me with CORTONA and Chicago's very own NICK STOYNOFF is rapidly approaching as it is exactly TWO WEEKS today.

Cortona and Nick Stoynoff will both be making their Manchester debuts down at Six Trees and this one is absolutely not to be missed for the serious prog heads out there.

The venue is easy to get to, perfectly located right next to 'Village' tram stop, and you can go to bed at a reasonable time (unless things get weird).

Support will be provided by Manchild and Progmatic's very own dynamic duo Ashley Bonsall & Jordan Counsel, who I rate so highly that I would happily buy a ticket just to see them two alone.
