We are excited to share the first trailer for our documentary following Christelle Foudji and her 14 years old daughter through the streets of Douala, Cameroon β two months spent inside the world of street vending, one of the most resilient and underappreciated trades in urban life.
Through long days, tight margins, and moments of quiet joy, this film documents the knowledge, endurance, and ingenuity that women vendors carry β a lived economy rarely seen on screen.
This project was born from a belief that the stories shaping our cities often unfold on the pavement, not in boardrooms. By following one family across markets, rain, and routine, we hope to offer a portrait of labour and love that is both intimate and universal.
At its heart, this is a film about what it means to build a life from the ground up β and to pass that resilience on to the next generation.
This is our first trailer. The full documentary is coming soon.
