It’s hard to find the right words for this but it’s time for me to pull the brakes for a bit.
Running Catalog has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life, but right now, I need to focus on things that happen off-camera. Between some pressing family matters and the need to prioritize my own mental health, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause the shop for the foreseeable future.
I’ve always said that Catalog was about more than just selling zines; it was about community. And that community is the only reason this dream ever got off the ground.
I owe everything to Nick at He didn’t just build a bike; he took a wild idea and turned it into the beautiful reality you see today. Without his craft and his belief in the vision, Catalog wouldn’t exist.
A massive thank you to all the students and staff at MMU for their support. Special thanks to and
A huge thanks to for giving us a home and a community of creatives to grow alongside. You guys made the “mobile” part of this journey feel grounded.
Finally, I want to thank my wife, Sarah. She supported me every step of the way and believed in me and my dream even when things were tough. I truly couldn’t have done any of this without her.
To everyone who ever stopped for a chat, bought a zine, or just gave us a wave—thank you. You made the long days and the Mancunian rain worth it.
I’m stepping away because I’ve realized that mental health isn’t something you can just “work through” while running a business—you have to actually stop and tend to it. This isn’t a final goodbye, but it is a necessary “see you later.”
Take care of yourselves, and keep supporting the indies.
With love and gratitude,
Peter

The online shop will remain active for a little while longer as we look to clear remaining stock. We’ll be running some sales over the coming days—you can find the link in our bio if you’d like to grab a final zine and support the transition.
