“What I never expected was for the music to have a life of its own…” 💥
Back in 2000, a completely wild new show arrived on UK TV. Members of the public were locked inside a house, cameras watched their every move, and what followed was 26 years (and counting) of drama, cult moments and unforgettable personalities.
When Big Brother first launched, Paul Oakenfold provided its soundtrack. At the time, nobody knew quite how big the show would become - and they certainly didn’t expect the music to take on a life of its own.
Even without Radio 1 playlisting, the track broke into the UK Top 5 and became instantly synonymous with Big Brother, remaining the unmistakable sound of the UK franchise to this day.
Now, to celebrate 26 years of Big Brother, Paul has revisited the iconic theme with a brand-new version, updated for 2026.
