✅ Graduate Visa Successfully Granted

Our client recently completed her studies in the UK under a Tier 4 (General) Student visa and wished to remain to gain post-study work experience.

⚠️ Key Challenge:
The main difficulty was timing. Final exam results confirming course completion were only released in late August 2025, just before the visa expiry.

📄 Thanks to proactive preparation, we had all legal documents and the application ready. This allowed us to submit promptly once eligibility was confirmed.

Delighted to share another successful outcome for our client!

Despite facing challenges, including a visa lapse due to COVID-19 and personal circumstances, we demonstrated that his relationship with his British spouse and stepchild is genuine and ongoing.

Although he couldn’t meet the usual immigration status and English language requirements, we relied on EX.1(b) of Appendix FM, showing insurmountable obstacles to family life outside the UK.

✅ The Home Office granted the application just six days after biometrics!
Our client now has Leave to Remain as the spouse of a British citizen under the 10-year route.

✨Successful Asylum Case✨

Our client faced serious persecution in his home country due to his political beliefs and activities, including peaceful protests, online advocacy, and community support.

One of the key challenges in this case was that the client did not claim asylum immediately upon arrival in the UK. He originally intended to remain lawfully in the UK through a work visa route. However, after changes in immigration rules, and upon receiving proper advice, he realised asylum was the only safe option available.

Despite this complexity, we successfully demonstrated the genuine nature of his political involvement and the ongoing risks he faced, leading to a positive outcome.

✨ILR Reinstated for Returning Resident! ✨

Our client first obtained Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK back in July 2003. However, in 2010, due to personal commitments abroad, he left the UK and only returned for brief annual visits until 2022.

Despite owning property and maintaining strong ties to the UK, his ILR status had technically lapsed, as he had been away for over 10 years.

Reinstating ILR after such a long absence is one of the most difficult immigration challenges.
